Every Single Tragedy is on Your T.V. Screen
There's a big Old Blonde on my T.V. set She's been dead for weeks but they ain't buried
her yet I sure hope that they don't forget
She's smells O.K. but she's had time to set. We watched her life just spiral down
Like a kids balloon lying spent on the ground And it seems
That every single tragedy that you've ever seen
Is on the T.V. screen.
There's a bald headed girl, a former pop star Driving real fast in her new sport's car.
She's got a baby in her lap and the Papparazzi are trying to give her bad publicity
She's beating on their cars and running about She went into rehab but now she's out
And it seems That every single tragedy that you've ever
seen Is on the T.V. screen.
Well they got news on 24 hours a day And everyone's talking but they got nothing
to say CNN and Channel E, VH1 in Hi Def T.V.
And it seems that with all the technology
they'd put something else on the T.V screen
We got a great big man and he's stuck in his home
He weighs 600 lbs and he's all alone As the camera zooms in he prays and cries
Why did he have to have it all supersized Just then a man in a spandex suit
with an afro and a headband and a lisp to boot
saves the day And every single tragedy that you've ever
seen Is on the T.V. screen.
I saw a chalked-faced man with sun-glasses on
With his entourage and his nose is all wrong Well he's grabbing himself and dancing around
And saying they don't know what he's all about He's got a monkey for a friend
And he's luring kids out to his weird playground in the wilderness
And it seems That every single tragedy that you've ever
seen Is on the T.V. screen.
And its just a travesty what they put on your T.V. screens.
And it just makes no sense to me why we don't turn off
Our T.V. screens
