Watch and learn how to configure the Guided Video app for the subject of Geometric Shapes,
with each instruction having 12 buttons from which the student may choose.
First, create the Subject by using the keypad to enter a title. Then pick a photo already
on the device's Photo Library, or use the device's Camera to take a photo.
This is how the it appears in the Subject Menu.
Next, use the keypad to label an Instruction. Then record a new Instruction Video or select
an existing Instruction Video.
Next, use the keypad to label an Alternative. Then select a photo to appear as the Alternative
Button. Finally, choose a positive reinforcement video, because a circle is the correct shape
for the student to tap in response to the Instruction Video.
Since this is the correct answer, choose Next Instruction for the Subsequent Action.
Next, use the keypad to label a second Alternative. Then select a photo to appear as the Alternative
Button. Finally, choose a negative reinforcement video, because an Isosceles Triangle is an
incorrect shape for the student to tap in response to the Instruction Video.
Since this is an incorrect answer, choose Repeat Instruction for the Subsequent Action.
Repeat these steps for any additional Buttons, bringing the total number of Alternatives
to a maximum of 12.
Repeat the same steps to add the Video Instruction "Tap the Square". Except give positive reinforcement
to the Square Button instead of the Circle Button.
Repeat the same steps to add the Video Instruction "Tap the Parallelogram".
Except give positive reinforcement to both the Parallelogram Button and the Square Button,
since both are parallelograms.
The Subject is now ready to be played for the student. Guided Video for iPad: get your
