We have been filming a TV ad for Bank of Scotland, we're in Loch Lomond. We have been here for
the last 3 days, we are finishing up tonight. We have two more shots to do, we have had
a great time, we've been following Alan and Noni.
We saw the advert funnily enough on facebook and I said to Noni 'We have got to go for
this.' And she went 'not sure, not sure..and the dog?' ..'Yea and the dog', so it was a
bit unreal really. Basically the storyline is that Alan has a
brand new coat and on this walk, he has a slight irritation and throughout the journey
it is getting worse and worse. Finally we realise, at the end of the walk, that it was
the label of his new coat that his wife plucks from his collar and shows him at the end of
the ad. I have never done anything like this before,
Alan has. I have, I've been done this for about 3 years
now and this is one of the biggest things I have done.
It's funny, I really didn't know what to expect, it's a lot more friendly than I thought it
was going to be. It is a real break from real life for me, it was just amazing and I have
loved having my hair and make-up done so I don't have to worry about any of that stuff!
Don't get used to it! You quite like it!
This is just a one off for you. It's been great fun, we got a good crew working
on this and the actors have been great; they are game for a laugh. They've been backwards
and forwards, backward and forwards. The funny thing is I thought I'd be really
nervous with everyone standing around, I thought it was going to be difficult to even walk
in a straight line. We've worked with an eagle..and we have worked
with a wonderful black Labrador. We have been amazed ourselves with how fantastic
he's been. He is a major surprise, maybe I should become
we haven't had problems with him. Actually being a bank customer and being able
to do this has been fantastic. Great banking and great being on set too.
