Alright now I am going to cut the tail out. And cutting the tail out is basically like
cutting one of the arms out. But let's look at this piece of the sock here. I mean actually
I can get a couple inches extra on the tail if I take it out of this piece. So that is
what I am going to do. And I am I going to do it with two cuts or one? You know I am
going to be crazy. I am going to gamble. I am actually going to do it with one cut across
both layers of sock and this is going to be the tail here. So I am just going to go ahead.
It's folded. I'm cutting through two layers at once. You know like I said it's not rocket
science. It's not a huge deal. But in this case you know this is the toe of the sock
so it's already closed up. So that means that when we sew this piece of sock here into a
tube it's going to be a tube that has a little sort of white tip already on the end of it
so that's kind of cute. So let's see. Here we are kind of at the end. And when I get
to the end I'm just going to kind of split the toe kind of right down the middle like
almost there, almost there, that old sock monkey. Okay there we go. This will be the
tail. And how does it look? It does look a little bit misshapen but it is a sock monkey.
Okay so this will be the tail and you know kind of imagine it over here. So the tail
has a little tip on it. Arms got big hands it. And so with this last piece you know you
can use your imagination you can make any kind of body parts you can think of out of
it. How about some ears? Let's cut some big silly monkey ears out of it. That's what I
will do in the next clip.
