>> Aesop Customers Talk about The Value they find in Aesop's flexible reporting.
>> FLIP STEINOUR, DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES, LANCASTER LEBANON I U: The reporting capabilities
have been great. One of the things that I like about the reporting mechanism within
Aesop is that you can just click, drag, and create the reports that you need to have.
I mean there are so many standard reports, that's great, but the fact is that we're
able to go now and create even more reports as we have the need to do so. It is just,
again, one of those surprises that we didn't know we were going to have and it's been
a great godsend with the system.
>> CHRIS HEDSTROM, ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR HUMAN RESOURCES, ELMBROOK SCHOOLS: The
report writer is extremely easy to use. Not only does Aesop have a lot of reports already
built in, but a school district can create its own customized report anytime it wants,
so that it meets that individual school district's needs.
>> FRANK BOGNER, ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR FOR HUMAN RESOURCES, YORKVILLE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS:
It gives us our fill rates. We share that with the Board, we share that with our negotiating
team, etc., when we are talking about different parts of our contract and what days we are
using...and it makes it real easy to share successes of programs or if you can see problems,
patterns or concerns with absences, those things are right there at your fingertips,
and as in everything, data doesn't lie. So if you have the data quickly you don't
have to spend hours going through paperwork to find your data then I can share that with
people that need to know.
>> JOAN NADEAU, HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST, WESTFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOLS: I've really liked
the report writer when I've needed to pull extract files, to be able to put it into Excel,
to create mailings, we're looking to increase our paraprofessional sub group and to be able
to use the database of subs and just pull a mailing list off was a 5 second job -- it
was just really nice to be able to get those addresses very quickly.
>> ROBERT RODRIGUEZ, DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES, PEEKSKILL SCHOOL DISTRICT: I use many reports
out of the Aesop system. One of them my Superintendent asks for frequently is how many teachers have
been absent before or after a holiday. That's very useful information to be able to print
out in a matter of two or three minutes and have that readily available for your Superintendent.
The other reports I print are how many substitutes did we need for a particular conference day
when teachers were at a conference, and see what costs we had in terms of conference expenses.
There's really so many ways you can create a report on Aesop that are useful.
