Hi Today id like to talk about narrow crown staple Ar.. we’ve got two series of staples
here the one at the top is a ninety series 90 galvanized strip and there’s a single
staple there and then we have a ninety seven series again galvanized strip and a single
staple there, as you can see both these staples are very very similar, they have the terminology
narrow crown and as you can see there the crown is that dimension across the top of
the staple, the cross bar if were are thinking of a goal post, now on the 90 series that
dimension is 5.7mm and as you can see its slightly wider than the other one the 97 series
however is a narrower staple and its 4.5mm and it’s a slightly thinner wire. The 90
series we can see the staple there this one is 20mm is a sample strip and il turn it end
on and im just hoping you’ll be able to just catch that crown there 5.8mm, the ninety
seven however if we bring this along side just turning it around just slightly thinner
gauge and slightly narrower and that one is 4.5mm.
So there’s your 90 series there’s your 97, the 90 series the leg length of that staple
because it is a slightly heavier gauge of wire it can go from 15mm leg length right
the way through to 40mm in leg length and that’s in 5mm increments. The ninety seven
however it’s a more finer staple and that will go from 10mm in leg length through to
a maximum leg length of 25mm and again in 5mm increments. Now I hope that’s just explained
two series of staple there 90 series and 97 narrow crown staples, Thank you www.mytoolkit.co.uk
