Taking fitness to the next level.
One Army captain hits the weights with CrossFit--
--where the outcome is more than a sculpted body.
There's one sentence that we kind of throw around for CrossFit--
--various movements, whether it be Olympic lifting, powerlifting, running, pushing, pulling--
--all of that kind of molded into one workout.
The goal of the workout is either to finish as fast as I can, lift as much as I can, or lift as many reps as I can.
It kind of varies every workout.
All the gym time helped earn her the title of Strongest Woman in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait.
It builds physical fitness, but it also builds that warrior mentality--
--that whether you're a soldier, an airman, a sailor, or a Marine--
--that's the kind of mentality we ought to have.
