JESSICA: I didn't really know how much hunting meant to to
him until we really started seriously dating.
JEREMY: Hunting is something that I've always done.
In here, I have guns, a few different rifles that I like
to hunt with.
I've shot guns, bows and arrows, knives.
That's about it.
JESSICA: When we first met, he forgot to mention one little
detail, that he likes to hunt and kill animals and put them
on his walls.
My first impression of Jeremy when I first met him was that
he was a genuine guy.
JEREMY: I think Jess's best quality is probably no matter
what mood I'm in, she's always able to put
a smile on my face.
Jess and I have been together for six years, but we've been
in this house for only two years.
JESSICA: Living together has been fun.
We're very different from each other.
So it's been interesting to get used to
each other's style.
JEREMY: I love to hunt.
I've been hunting ever since I was a little boy.
It's probably, by far, my number one passion.
JESSICA: When we first moved in, we decided that that room
would be an office space.
I told Jeremy that that could also be where he could put
some of his hunting things, a dear head or so.
It's been interesting getting used to having all the guns
around and the bows, and bullets, and all those things.
Right now, it only reflects Jeremy.
And I'd like it to reflect the both of us, so that we can
both be in there and enjoy it together.
JEREMY: I guess the argument that we're having about the
room now is that Jess thinks that I have too much of my
stuff in there.
JESSICA: What I don't like about the office right is that
it's just overloaded with hunting.
If I need to go in there to use the computer or something
I'll go in, but I kind of keep my distance from that room as
much as possible.
JEREMY: I don't think that it's overloaded
with hunting stuff.
I have a few things in there, but I didn't think it was as
bad as it is.
JESSICA: I'd like to have a room that I can actually enjoy
going into as well, that I can sit at the computer and do
work and not be weirded out by animals staring down at me.
JEREMY: Everything in here has special meaning to me, because
it's like memories in a way.
Some people keep a scrapbook or photo albums.
I keep deer heads, and antlers, and turkey beards.
I'm willing to compromise with the room to a certain extent
as long as my personality is still reflected in some way.
JESSICA: The deer heads have got to go, or you're going to
be hunting for you dinner for the rest of your life.
