Male 1: Wasn't that great? Thanks very much USC Trojans marching band, and of course the
song girls. It is great to be here to anticipate the start of football season, and the start,
for the first time in decades, LAMK rail service to USC.
Female 1: Great to join all of you here today and our message is simple. When you come out
to root for the USC Trojans we do it, and we go green, and we save money by going Metro.
That's what Trojans do.
Male 2: As you may know, three of our football games this season are already sold out, including
this Saturday's game against Hawaii, and we expect the others to sell out soon. The Expo
Line provides an incredible opportunity for our fans to travel safely, quickly, and efficiently
to and from the Coliseum.
Female 1: The Expo Line is here to make sure that everyone gets to the game safely, and
we urge all of you to think of Expo for what it is: a 200 ton machine that needs respect.
That means not running in front of the trains. They can't stop on a dime. Use the crosswalks,
obey traffic lights, follow the safety instructions from all of Metro personnel, LAPD, and the
Sheriff's Department. We are here to help you, and want you to have a great time, and
be safe. We will issue citations for those who choose to violate these traffic laws.
Male 3: As mentioned before we're gonna enhance our service for the Metro line. We'll be running
trains approximately every six minutes before the game and after the games, and additional
trains will be added to our other Metro lines, our Red, Purple, and Gold Lines. So we want
everybody to enjoy themselves, but to be safe. So can I hear a "Go Metro"?
Crowd: Go Metro.
Male 3: A "Go USC".
Crowd: Go USC.
Male 3: And most of all be safe. Thank you very much.
