Kacy: Hey everybody! We're here at the 19th annual SICKfest
brought to you by ASUA, Comedy Corner, and the University Activities Board!
Kyle: I am so glad you're done talking. Why is it called 'SICKfest'?
Kyle: Are we on the Oregon Trail? Am I going to get dysentery... again?
Kyle: Are we on the Oregon Trail? Am I going to get dysentery... again?
Kacy: This isn't the Oregon Trail, you're not going to get sick.
Kacy: 'SICK' is an acronym for "Southwest Intergalactic Comedy Kermis".
Kacy:... 'Kermis' is a Dutch term for 'festival'.
Kyle: Oh, like you didn't have to look that up on Wikipedia!
Kacy: That's not important! Kyle: Mmhmm...
Kacy: SICKfest offers a wide variety of comedy performances.
Kyle: Oh, do we get to check it out?
Kacy: Yeah! We do!

Kyle: So, Comedy Corner, tell us - what is SICKfest?
Comedy Corner: Basically, what it is, is a two-night event,
The first night is improv, and we bring in other troops from in-state,
Some of them are from ASU, and some are Comedy Corner alumni.
And then, the second night, we usually write a show - like a full-length show, like about half an hour, and
we perform that before our headliner - and this year
it was Doug Benson, and it was really awesome!
Kacy: We're here with Graham Elwood - Graham, how does it feel to be back at the U of A?
Graham Elwood: It feels great! You know, I went to school here, and I was
in Comedy Corner, so it was cool to see them do a sketch, and
do their show and everything, and it's great to be back!
You know, I had a wonderful time here
Kacy: Thank you so much!
Graham: Thank you guys! Bear Down!
Kyle: And that's why you should've checked out SICKfest 19
instead of watching that basketball game against UConn.
Kyle: Seriously, though, that was a bummer.
Kacy: We'll get 'em next year.
Kyle: Anyway, I'm Kyle.
Kacy: And I'm Kacy. We'll see you next time!
