Hi, my name is Christie Nelson.
I'm a third year student at the University of Windsor.
Now whether you're on the go or just looking for a quick fix to quench your appetite,
healthy fillings for buns are definitely in a abundance.
I always like to go with their colors, all the colors of the rainbow.
So we have our avocado for our healthy fats, we have our tomatoes
to help increase iron absorption, we have our anti-oxidants when we find our cucumbers.
Also our pickles, cheese for our protein and calcium and, of course,
a bit of lettuce to help everything go down, right?
So first thing I'm going to make I love proteins too so first thing I'm going
to make is the chicken breast, the breaded chicken breast.
So what you do is you find a lean piece of chicken breast, very lean,
inside my bread crumbs I put a little cumin seed
so I get my chicken all breaded up, I toss it inside the frying pan.
If I really want to keep all of that flavor in, I cover it with a lid
to keep all of the nice flavors in.
It should brown to a nice golden brown and if you really want to spice things up,
add your favorite tomato sauce and a little bit of cheese, sprinkle it on there,
put it in the oven and when it comes out it's a beautiful, beautiful chicken cutlet
and what you do is you toss that on a bun and you're ready to go.
