1 Cup of all purpose flour / maida
2 tsp Sugar and Lukewarm water
Dissolve sugar in water
add 1 tsp honey and dissolve it
add this mixture to the flour some at a time
mix it to make slurry consistency
this is the required consistency
add 2 to 3 tsp curd / yogurt and mix it
cover and keep it in a warm place for 14 - 18 hours
after 14 hours, bubbles are formed, yeast is ready to use
time taken depends on the room temperature, observe for the bubbles and the sweet aroma
store it in refrigerator and use it within 4 -5 days
check the smell before use, in case of bad smell discard it
take 1/4 th to 1/3 rd Cup of this yeast for each cup of flour
use it for making bread, pizza, jalebi, naan, etc
