T’was the night before Christmas and all was a-glow,
A sleigh load of dreams lay in wait down below,
The children were nestled as if tucked up in bed,
While visions of fairy dust danced in their head,
When awoke from their slumber - oh how they did cheer,
For this moment comes just once a year,
But where were their presents? Where might they be,
They searched high and low but they just couldn't see,
So much excitement and so much to share,
They bounded downstairs without much of a care,
Their eyes how they twinkled, their teeth white as snow,
Come along little ones, there’s goodies below,
They arrived at the table where the gifts overflowed,
With all this excitement one might just explode,
But angel-faces wait! Not now, not yet,
Could this be the Christmas they’ll never forget?
