Island of Siankaba is situated about 45 km from Livingstone away, in Zambia.
A five-minute boat transfer across the Zambezi River reaches Island of Siankaba
during which you might come across some hippo.
The friendly staff at Island of Siankaba welcomes you upon arrival
and show you around the lodge starting with the dining
and lounge area.
Island of Siankaba also has a small pool complete with sun-loungers.
Both islands are joined by rope-walk bridges
and Island of Siankaba has got seven chalets situated around the island's edge.
Each chalet is stylishly furnished with twin or double beds
and have fantastic views out over a large veranda and the Zambezi River.
All chalets are equipped with an en-suite bathroom.
Activities at Island of Siankaba focus on boat trips along the Zambezi River.
In the evening romantic dinners are set up
and enjoy some pre and post dinner drinks around the campfire.
More possible activities are guided birding and tree walks.
There is a 1.5km nature trail which runs round one of the islands.
Visits to the local villages are also particularly good.
Islands of Siankaba is a very peaceful and relaxing place to spend a few nights.
It's a great spot to relax around the start or end of a safari to Botswana or Zambia.
