Now we're going to cut the image that we made on the cardboard, the image of the paddle.
And we're going to cut around trying to make it exactly according to the lines exactly
that we already draw, we've drawn. The cardboard is good to use because it's soft enough to
be cut easily but it's also sturdy enough that will give us a nice solid paddle once
we put the two, two outlines together. When we made the outline we used the edge of the
cardboard, that was because we also wanted to leave room for the second outline that
we're going to be using to attach together. But also it helps us in cutting the image
because you don't have to go full circle, go around the edges full circle. You can just
kind of clip the corners because the circle is sitting on the edges, it helps you as a
guide to give you that nice, nice circular shape that we're looking for. So it's a lot
easier also just to use the edges of the cardboard when making your outline it will be much easier
to cut it. Now if you're not getting a nice straight edge when cutting the cardboard,
you don't have to worry because you can always make some trims afterwards. When you get to
the corner, it's also important not to go to close in where the handle of the paddle
is going to be, we want to keep that a little bit thicker because that's really what's going
to be giving us our, the sturdiness of the paddle. So you want to make that handle part
too thin. So now I've shown you how to cut around the outline of the paddle that we've
drawn. And now we're going to go ahead and make a second outline and attach them together.
