Hi everyone, and welcome back to a brand new series of Hair With Hollie, with me, Hollie.
So today, we're going to show you how to do this Miley Cyrus double top-knot. So, it's
quite cool, quite Nineties, really out there, and super easy to do, too.

Okay, so we're going to start off with the hair in center parting. You can go off-center,
but for this look it really needs a center parting. So just, once you've got it, use
the nose as a guide to make sure you're right in the middle. And then, just continue the
parting all the way down the back of the head, to the nape of the neck. So, now that I've
separated the hair into two bunches, we're just going to work on one section at a time,
popping it up in quite a high pony at the top of the head.
Just keep brushing all the hair up towards the top of the head, to get quite a sleek
and smooth finish. If you want you can pop in a bit of gel here, something to just keep
it nice and flat. It's a good idea to use a tail comb for this, because it means you'll
get a good center parting. And you can brush up all the little fly-aways at the bottom
there.
Once you're happy with the heighth of your pony tail, we're going to hold it in place
with just a small band. I'm using an elastics here, just because they're quite unnoticeable.
It's a good idea to combing grips that are the same color as your hair, because it just
makes the combing divide look a bit less obvious.
You're going to brush this up. There we go. You want to give this a blast of hairspray
as well.
Just grabbing a slide, with a nice little blond one here. Just going to pop it in. And
one in that side, too.
So, now we're just going to grab the ponytail. We're going to twist it around really tightly
into that bun, and we're going to pin it in place. You can twist either which way you
want, again you can prep the hair with a bit of gel or hairspray. But, once you start twisting
it really tightly, you'll see that it doubles over on itself. And you get those really little,
perky buns.
So, I'm just going to pin them place using some hair grips. Again, the same color of
your hair is good.
So, I'm just going to do the exact same thing on the other side. So, when you're finished
with your look and you're happy with your little buns, don't worry if one is a little
bit bigger, if they're a bit uneven it adds to the look. Just finish off with a good lob
of hairspray and smooth away any little fly-aways that you may have.
So there you have it, guys, a really cool Miley Cyrus double top-knot look. Great for
the club. Don't forget to subscribe to the channel, and do tune in next week, where I
will be doing a three-bun braided look. So cool. See you next week, guys.
