This is the Uncle Mike's #3 scoped Bandolier Holster. I've used
this exact holster on several different hunts.
I like it for a variety of reasons. It's
made for a scoped revolver,
but in this case I have in it
my
Freedom Arms .454 Casull
with a special mount I made to accept this EOTech OPMOD red dot sight.
It fits in there nicely and what helps it fit in
is that I can adjust the velcro strap on the back
to help me with the angle that I want the gun to sit in a little bit.
It's also very easily adjusted
It's also,
it is easily tightened and adjusted. And I also think from there another Uncle Mike's
product,
it's a cartridge case carrier.
Since I carry four rounds in this gun I've never had to reload quickly
but my ammunition is readily available if i need to.
What's
nice about using a bandolier holster is when you're carrying a heavy gun like
this it sits in the middle of the chest.
When you're wearing heavy outdoor cold-weather clothing it doesn't
interfere
with your movement
like
a shoulder holster would that sits under your arm and really protrudes and is very
very uncomfortable.
So this gives me complete freedom of movement, I usually let it hang
but one of the other attributes this holster has
is the option to use it on your belt.
Again I don't normally use it on my belt I like it to swing free,
and this is one of my favorite holsters, this is the Uncle Mike's #3
scoped bandolier holster.
And most of these Uncle Mike's Bandolier Holsters come in camouflage as well.
