Why do men objectify women?
Men notice the most attractive aspects of a woman first. It might be her long legs,
her ***, her curves or her smile.
Why does the smile stand out?
It is a signal that she likes you, which causes a man to like her.
She might be smiling while talking to someone else.
We're talking about instinct here, not reason. Men look at a woman's collection of features
to build up a composite opinion of the girl.
If he's measuring each of her composite parts, she's just a completed piece when he's done.
To a degree. And men often generalize and objectify women because they don't understand
women.
You make it sound like we're aliens.
There is a whole series of books that men and women are from different planets. Men
value freedom, women security, men favor action, women want to talk about things.
That's how we bond.
There's a funny video about a girl complaining about a nail in her head, grousing how it
hurts and ruins her sweaters. Yet when he tries to take it out, she tells him to shut
up and listen, that's what she really wants.
That's stereotypical.
It has to have at least a grain of truth to even be funny, much less have so many views.
And what makes a man see her as a person?
Time, exposure, the building of a relationship.
So she's an object until she's a person. Women don't do that.
And how many women sit around complaining about all men do this and no man does this
unless he's gay? A man is a net worth or career path with earning potential or a hot bod until
she falls in love with him for him.
Men don't appreciate a woman's inner person until -
Until she takes him for walks and does things with him, forcing him to develop a relationship
through the sheer investment of time. And if she won't listen to him, he won't listen
to her.
And you're like all men, refusing to listen to me!
I answered your question, didn't I?
