Today, I'll demonstrate the difference of sound from tube amplifier.
When you play it at low and high volume.
My amplfier is Egnater set on my favorite setting, it has tube mix between 6v6 and EL84 power tubes
The Watts *** is set on maximum at 20 watts
The "master" *** is a volume ***, and I'll set it at almost minimum so the amp won't too loud.
Treble, middle and bass *** set as is.
The gain *** is set on maximum, I'll play drive section only. Let see, how the low volume affect the tone.
Let see, how the low volume affect the tone.
Then, let's see when I turn the volume at almost maximum (maximum will shorten tubes' life, so I set it at 2 o'clock)
Whereby I have an "attenuator" which is tranform the signal from head amp into heat.
So, my amp can works on full power at low volume
There is an "on" switch
Now, I'll turn the volume up, notice that the noise is also loud.
Which means that if I play a guitar now it'll sound very very loooud.......
Now I turn an attenuator on.
Because of the inexpensive attenuator will suck some treble.
So, I must turn the treble *** on to compensate its treble loss.
