Hello everyone and welcome to the first episode of Dog Days. Yay! Ok, so this is actually
a continuation of what you may know as The Buddy and Scooter Show. That name wasn't really
catching on, so I figured I'd change it to Dog Days, which I think sounds pretty cool.
So, as some of you may know, a few viewers may not, this is Buddy. He's kinda mad because
I woke him up from a nap, but oh well, this is TV. Smile! Yeah, so, that's Buddy. And
this is Scooter. Aren't they cute? Awww...kisses. Yeah, so um today on Dog Days, we are going
to talk about dog shoes, or "booties", as they're called. Now, they come in many different
varieties. You can get anywhere between these little plastic things that look like...little...I
don't know what to call them. They're like...I don't know, they're just like these little
plastic things that look so cheap and crappy. They're like...it's like a piece of plastic
fabric stuff that they just sew together and poke a hole in it and then you put your dog's
foot in it. I mean, what's up with that? And then you can get these expensive ones that
are like Sketchers brand and stuff like that. I may be misquoting that, but like my dog
Scooter can wear Build-A-Bear shoes. Yeah, and Sketchers makes those so I know that's
true. So you can get all these different kinds of stuff and I just think they're weird and
kinda ridiculous. I mean, if it's for a dog show, maybe, but I still think they're kinda
stupid. That's just me. Um...another topic we're gonna talk about is, uh...I don't know.
I didn't really plan for this. I'm gonna have to edit that out, if I can. Um, let's see...what
do you guys wanna talk about? Uh, I guess we'll talk about your age. Anyway, so that
was just me going off about that. Anyway, um, now for those of you who are new to this
video kinda deal, Buddy is now 5 years old and Scooter is 7, and yes they're still here,
they're just hiding. Buddy's in his bed and Scooter is just out of the shot. Anyway, so
um, Buddy is...we actually got Buddy first, even though he's 5, and we got Scooter a couple
years later. And, um, they're both rescue dogs. I am totally pro-rescue over like...getting
them like brand new, ya know, I'm totally for rescue dogs, and ya know, you can find
some really great rescue dogs, and I think rescue dogs, they um...they love you more
because you've rescued them. And then that makes you want to love them more because they
love you, and it's just this whole back and forth thing, and you just love each other.
And Scooter here is kinda loud at times, but he's not afraid of thunderstorms, unlike Buddy
here. Buddy is terrified of thunderstorms. And Buddy...they're kinda...they're not really
afraid of doorbells, but they still bark at them. I don't know. Um...but Scooter's loud,
Buddy's not as loud. And Buddy makes less...poops. Yeah, and Scooter makes bigger poops, but
they're still small dogs...smallish dogs. And, uh, if you're like living in an apartment,
or a small house or something or don't like to go out as much, I would...a small dog is
better for that kind of lifestyle. If you are like completely active outside and you
have this big yard or you have a big walking range or whatever, then you'd probably go
for a bigger dog. But, um, we were originally not gonna get any dogs but we ended up having
2 small ones. So, um, yeah. Uh, so that's a little info about my dogs and , uh, I'm
going to come up with a name for the fans and, uh, yeah. And I'm gonna come up with
a cool catch phrase to say at the end, or something, ya know, like uh, y'all probably
don't know, um, let's see, Haley Star. She's a drag queen and she says Peace, Love, and
Cupcakes *blows a kiss to the camera*. That's how she ends her videos, so I don't know.
I'll figure out something. Anyway, see ya next time. Bye!
