Welcome to the 1st tutorial video
for the program version of 2012.
The Radiobattler's new version
welcomes us with a new start screen
which allows all different programmes for radio stations
and internet radio stations by Radiobattler to be selected.
To start the main program (on air broadcasting) as usual
simply click the button "Hauptprogramm" and then button "Start".
Some songs in playlist are already prepared at this screen.
But before starting the show, we may want to know
what songs the Radio DJ played before.
For this there is a new entry "log files" DJ's working area.
There you can check at what times in the past which songs were played.
It helps to know, what colleagues have already played
or to answer a listener's request quickly, which song was when "on air".
Lets look at "assist control" more closely.
By default Radiobattler is set that the former independent window
for "assist control" is integrated into new version's main window.
Only if the setting in the settings dialog is checked,
this control comes into the foreground once the "assist control" is activated.
On the top left of the software there is an information area.
with far left a dynamic status display for the current title.
There are now 10 seconds, until the intro-point up to which the moderator should be terminated.
If this song keeps on running, the current player is displayed in the center of the circle.
At this time, this is "Player A" next to the title and artist information.
Below it's indicated how long this title is already running,
it counts down seconds until "Cue Out" - that is, the time for fade out for automation.
Just before the end of the title are change to next track is highlighted by flashing.
Right, we see an indication of volume level and below a waveform Track name.
There, all different markers are visible and progress is displayed in color.
Same situation with another radiobattler program: the "Infowall".
This program can be activated when starting. It's also possible to launche it later.
Infowall works like a server-based platform and needs a running main program.
It needs a path to find the current running main program, which can be locally
or on another computer - the broadcast pc - on network.
Infowall is a kind of increased status section for Radio DJs information.
It is a moveable program without window title and two display options.
Either as here, you can move it freely on the desktop, or cover whole screen.
By using the icon with arrows, it increases to the entire screen.
Let's look at the various elements of the screen in automatic mode.
We can see the intro countdown as well and title and artist's name are displayed.
In the middle of the screen is a studio clock displayed and various elements around it.
For example, an uptime counter, which counts up while "push-to-talk" is used.
With microphone "On Air" also "Mik On" appears red.
On the right side reaching "cue-out" is now indicated.
The automatic mode is therefore equal to start the next song.
We now see the warning "Achtung Playlist" because only one song is left.
Below right we have next title to be announced.
This information helps to prepare an introductory moderation.
Furthermore there is the possibility of external signals, such as a phone call to signal.
To close the Infowall, or to put it on side for a using place on the screen differently,
icons at the top right can be used, again. Incidentally, for this case,
new titles are not added to the playlist in time, there is an option in the settings,
enables to fill an emergency playlist, so that in case of an empty playlist other titles are chosen
and no transmission keeps on running (no silence). This applies until the moderator can intervene again.
