Throughout the semester and especially at the end of the semester you're going to want
to backup your Moodle class and potentially import it into another class. So this video
is going to show you how to both of these things. So what you're going to do is you're
going to go into the class that you want to backup. Your going to scroll down into the
administration area. Click on backup. Choose all of the items you want to backup. Click
continue, and again scroll all the way down. Continue again and it's going to take a minute
to do its transferring process. Then your going to scroll down again, continue. And
now that you'll see that you've got a new backup, and so what you want to do is save
this somewhere onto your computer. So you can right-click. Save link as. And then save
it somewhere onto your computer, you can find it later. Now if you're going to what to take
this and put it into another class, while you're here, you can go ahead and just click
on restore, and continue, and continue again. And restore to and if you are taking it to
a new course you want to go to an existing course and either add data to or delete it
first. Choose the items that you want to have go over, and then continue. And then you're
going to choose from your courses so for this I'm just going to put it in my Sandbox 2,
and then restore the course. And then you will do another couple of continues, and now
this course, your backed-up course now has the content from your original course. That's
all there is to it.
