The Warriors' junior side is returning to the fray,
and they are in with a good chance of bringing the cup home,
repeating last year's victory in the Toyota Cup.
The parents of the captain,
Ben Henry say that the club has what it takes
to beat the North Queensland Cowboys.
Roihana Nuri spoke with them today.
This is Ben Henry, the captain of the Junior Warriors,
of Ngati Kuri, Tainui and Aitutaki descent.
Ben is the second eldest of Moana and John's seven children.
When his parent's wanted him to take up a hobby,
there were only two options.
But perhaps we are lucky that his parents choose
the Glenora Bears Rugby League Club
because now he is part of rugby league's pool of rising stars.
And he is no stranger to lifting the minor premier's coveted Toyota Cup.
Last season, his side was victorious.
But this year, Ben's parents have even more faith
that their boy's side can win again.
Three of the Warriors' teams have made the finals -
the Vulcans, the Junior Warriors and the Warriors.
The Junior Warriors will play the junior North Queensland Cowboys
as the curtain raiser for NRL's biggest game.
