So, now I'm going to go ahead and open down to a quarter of an inch in the center of this
little pad that I've left in the middle. And, pull that towards my right hand with my left
index finger. I want to check and make sure that the depth is appropriate. Again, about
a quarter of an inch. And, once you're happy with that go ahead and take your right thumb
and use it to push up and inward towards the left hand to raise that area up a little bit.
Now, this is just going to support the base of the top bowl so that it doesn't sag when
you're putting them together or when it's firing. And, you don't have to be very specific
with the height of this. Because, you can cut it down a little bit if it's too tall
whenever you go to put on the second bowl. You do want to make sure it's at least an
inch, so that you've got something to work with there. And, now we can go ahead and make
the outer walls of the outer bowl.
