I speak Hebrew. I’ve been here for 9 years
but I’ve never gone to an Ulpan
my grammar isn't that good and I wanted to improve it
There is a company called MSCI
that divides all the conturies for investors into developed markets and developing markets.
Israel is defined ad a developing market together with countries like Egypt turkey Korea
Two days ago they published that in May 2010 they will define Israel as a developed market.
What is the meaning of this?
In the world there are many more investors that can invest in a developed market
This is good. So what is the problem?
There is a saying in Hebrew that asks
if it is better to be the head of the fox or the tail of the lion
Until now we were the head of the fox against countries like Egypt and Turkey
but against countries like France and America we are more like the tail of the lion
In my opinion and my life a prefer being the tail of the lion
because there is more potential and one can see more of the world
But in economics it is an open question and only time will tell.
I have a very special job
I help Jews from the U.S and Canada and England to come live in Israel.
I meet new interesting people all the time
and I fly a lot abroad for my work
But after 6 years I’m thinking if it is time to make a change
I have a dream to return being a radio announcer
I’m still young and can start over
5 years from now I don't want to regret that I didn’t change my job
I’m deliberating whether to stay at my job
or risk everything and change my job
