For this tip that I'm gonna to share with you now, I'm actually gonna to let you
look over my shoulder as I look through the Nutrition Plan
and plan my own personal nutrition for the 21 Day journey.
And, I tell you, that it leaves me really vulnerable because I tend to like to eat Paleo.
But, for this particular journey, because I want to keep it real and I want
to utilize what I already have in my household...
that's like healthy grain, then I tend to get some of my friends out there...
...you know, definitely calling me out on it.
But, you don't get to.
Okay, you do, but anyways... come on over, look over my shoulder.
Okay, a couple of things for the next 21 days that you need to know about me,
that isn't necessarily relative to you.
When you're planning your list is #1...I'm going on a trip.
#2...I have picky eater kids.
And, #3, I'm moving. So, I'm trying to keep my refrigerator
as simple as possible and my shopping list equally as simple.
And, I want to purchase some things that I can travel with.
So, when I'm going down the green container list, things that I always have
in my fridge are lettuce, 'cause Dave and I love to eat a lot of salad...
carrots,
tomatoes,
and, although there are tons of other things that I love to eat...
I like cucumbers.
And, that way, my son and my daughter also get their vegetables in.
Okay, from the purple container...that's your fruit.
Tons of choices.
I'm not going to overwhelm myself, because actually your fruit is kind of limited on the 21 Day Fix.
Let me give you an example...
you get two purple containers a day, but if you ate a banana, for example,
you only get half of a banana per purple container,
quote on quote, so...
um, that...I don't want my vegetables or fruit to spoil either,
so I'm gonna to keep it simple.
I'm keeping it to apples, grapes and banana.
If you have like something that you like particularly to blend with your Shakeology,
by all means, purchase more fruit than that.
Okay, red containers...my protein choices.
Again, keeping it super simple.
I'm going to put down chicken, tilapia... 'cause I love tilapia.
Oh, tuna...canned tuna because we're traveling,
so I will be packing some of that for myself.
Protein powder.
And, of course, right here...Shakeology.
Alright, moving on.
There's a ton of other choices that I love, but I don't want to overwhelm myself.
Again, its all about things that are gonna keep.
So the yellow container...
sweet potato...that's something that we eat a lot.
And, as I go down the list...
I'm really, for me...there isn't a lot that I particularly usually eat
other than sweet potato.
But, for the sake of this, particular...
I have leftover from the Ultimate Reset...
I have some tortillas, usually for my kids.
I always have a multi-grain bread,
which you can have a slice of.
And, then I have like brown rice and steel cut oatmeal.
So, those things are all there for me...
oh, and quinoa...and, I like that because you can make a lot of that and have portions.
So, in the blue container...
two things...again, to keep my cost down in my fridge
um, are hummus,
avocado,
and, I love raw nuts.
So, you get a lot of choices of raw nuts.
I always have them in my drawer and they last and they're easy to travel with.
Not necessarily the avocado and hummus. However, raw nuts are awesome.
And, the same thing goes for the orange container...
which then is seeds and other healthy fats.
I love...um, I like always have pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, stuff like that...and, olives.
So, I always have olives.
They keep for awhile in the fridge.
Kala-mala, kalamata...I can't say it right.
But, anyways, those were on Ultimate Reset, so they're still in my fridge.
And, pumpkin.
And, remember, not salted...raw.
And, last but not least, you get two teaspoons and, I think pretty much for me
it's gonna be similar because, uh... I'm gonna do the extra *** olive oil for my salads,
and, then nut butters.
And, those again are easy to travel with...
not the extra *** olive oil, but the nut butters. And, uh...
So, that's pretty simple.
Now I have a list.
I have a pretty simple shopping list and I know exactly what I need for my containers.
