Greetings!
The summer semester has finally arrived.
For many members of the ETSU Community summer is a time of rest and renewal
while for others it's one of the busiest times of the year.
For those of you who are taking summer classes, you will have a front row seat
as major changes transpire across our institution,
including the construction of our student parking garage
as well as a new green space at the center of campus.
Both of these projects are scheduled to be completed by the start of the fall
semester.
For new undergraduate and graduate Students, I look forward to meeting you
at one of our upcoming orientation sessions.
We are honored that you chose ETSU!
Let one of our staff members know what we can do to assist you with any
questions that you or your parents may have
about ETSU.
I'd also like to welcome all of our new Faculty and Staff members
who will soon be arriving on campus.
We are honored to welcome you to Johnson City and to the ETSU family
and we thank you for being part of the collective journey
that shapes the minds and influences the lives of more than fifteen thousand
students here across our Campus.
To all of our Students, Faculty, and Staff,
whether you're taking classes,
working full-time completing an internship, conducting research,
or moving through the transition for fall,
I encourage each of you to take time
out of your schedule
and spend that time with loved ones. Enjoy the outdoors!
Discover a great book!
Take a roadtrip or re-engage with your university!
Enjoy your summer!
May the summer provide an opportunity for renewal and reflection!
May the summer also provide an opportunity for us to rekindle
our fire and love for our ETSU! Godspeed and Go Bucs!
