In the most western part of Slovenia, in the Breginjski kot, almost 700 meters high, lies the small village of Robidišče.
In the north, west and south it is surrounded by Italy.
With it's secluded location on the right side of the Nadiža river, Robidišče represents a architectural and ethnographic monument, with it's Venetian architecture, accent and special food.
In Robidišče it seems like time has stopped many years ago.
Nowadays, the pepole of Robidišče keep busy with breeding sheep and tourism.
In 2006, the first beds were available in the renovated houses. Today there are 30 beds altogether.
The tourist season is short, but guests from all of Europe love to return to the cozy apartments in the culturally protected historical houses.
Guests enjoy the comfort and the hint of seclusion :-)
Robidišče is a slovenian gem, which is worth seeing at least once in your life.
