My L.A. look book.
L.A. was so much fun. I was out here for Beautycon and I posted a video about it.
A lot of you guys wanted to take a closer look at my outfits in L.A.
So, I put a little somethin-somethin together for you.
The very first look is something I put together for a pool party hosted by The Platform.
When I put things together, I'm always looking for a statement piece.
And in this case, it's the skirt.
This skirt is fun, playful, sheer colorful. All the things that come to mind when I think of pool party.
And to keep the attention on the skirt, I match it with a white tank top bustier.
And these hot coral shoes are my BFF.
I just think they look awesome with the skirt, because it really brings out the corals and the pink accents against the greens and the blues.
It's just a mouthful of dessert.
Now for the second look, this was something I wore to a Beautycon event in the evening.
And I wanted to go a more formal route, but still keeping it fun and playful.
And again, I'm all about statement pieces. And in this case, it is the top.
The top is reminiscent of fine china, which is very ornate, very detailed.
To really play up the blue detailing in the shirt, I accessorized with Ruby Woo MAC lipstick.
Yes, my lipstick is an accessory, hello.
And this look could have easily gone formal with a black long skirt, but to keep it playful, I went the route of lacy black shorts that really play up the ornate print in the shirt.
In between filming I had an appointment to get my hair done.
So I did that.
Now for the grand reveal!
So this is my third look.
It's casual, it's comfortable.
Now the shorts are cut fairly high, so to play down that high cut I wore a crop top t-shirt.
You know, so you gotta show some and cover some.
No cleavage, no chest, keep the attention on the legs.
And I love my booties by Jeffrey Campbell.
These are comfortable, I can get everything done and I can run around looking fierce.
And again, I love statement pieces. And in this case, it's my tote bag, yo!
It is my shameless tote bag.
Be shameless!
And just do you boo.
Do you boo!
Shoes, scarf, don't sleep.
Limited edition.
Get it!
This fourth look is a head turner.
I absolutely love coral. I am obsessed with it--I think coral looks awesome on deeper skin complexions, on tan skin.
Because it is a statement piece, I don't want to go overkill on accessories.
So I kept everything really clean and basic.
My fifth and final look.
I cannot close this look book without a bikini.
Look, this bikini screams L.A.
The designer is by Estevan, and... diamond supply.
I had the pleasure of meeting Estevan, an awesome L.A. artist, photographer, brilliant genius.
And he gave this bikini to me, I'm so honored and grateful.
I'm just glad I have a piece of L.A. with me, here in New York City.
Do you boo! Do you! Be shameless!
The 2 things that I live by are on this bag!
This should be retailing for a kabillion dollars, but it's not.
This is how I live my life, guys.
And ever since I lived my life this way, I pretty much turned it around.
But yeah, thank you guys so much.
Thank you. I am so indebted to you.
Te amo mucho, muchas gracias.
Merci beaucoup.
Salamat po.
I love you, boo!
And yeah, that's about it guys! I hope you enjoy.
