Now we talk sports with Te Hemara Rauhihi.
Tena koe, Te Hemara.
On to your favourite game, the NRL.
The Warriors will take on
the St George Illawarra Dragons tomorrow,
will they give us a different performance
to what they displayed against the Parramatta Eels?
Hopefully! - Yes I hope so!
Well that's my team.
I get my hopes up every year.
One of the biggest things about this match is that the Dragons
are the toughest team for the Warriors to beat.
Out of the last 20 games played
the Warriors have only won four times.
But some of their players are returning.
One of their biggest problems are their centres.
Jerome Ropati is returning.
Carlos Tuimavave was injured in the last game.
Isn't Jerome Ropati getting on now?
Can he make a difference to the team?
Well, that's what I'm saying,
there's a big problem in the centres.
Konrad Hurrell is great,
but it looks like he's put on a few.
A result from partying too much?
But Sam Tomkins,
as I was watching him against the Eels,
he's an exciting player to watch.
The problem now is getting him used to playing the same style
as the other Warriors.
The Warriors' style is good.
But their style of playing is not what it was.
It looks a bit like they're trying to be like the Melbourne Storms
and Manly who play a very structured game.
However, the Warriors should just play their own game.
That's the only way they can win.
Let's talk about Benji Marshall.
He's been picked to start for the Blues against the Lions,
in the early hours of Sunday morning if I remember correctly -
your thoughts?
I'be been waiting a long time for this game!
I believe fullback is the best position for Benji.
He doesn't suit playing fly-half.
From what I've heard, his defence isn't as strong.
But for fullbacks,
there are only about two tackles they need to make per game.
Israel Dagg only makes about two tackles a game.
So, his defence isn't going to be a huge problem.
But they'll be up against the Lions,
and all the South African players are giants.
However, if the ball gets kicked to him,
any oppositon will have to cover quite some distance to get to him,
and he's pretty fast.
It's the perfect position for him.
Do you believe Benji will be OK? - Yes.
For his first game, I mean!
Te Hemara Rauhihi, thank you for your time.
