Hey, this is Shawn with Preval. We're here with Paul Gibbs at Innovative Transport Solutions.
Paul, why don't you explain to us how you use our Prevals.
Yeah, sure, Shawn. What we have is we have our main machines that come in here for
customers that we sell and lease out here in the US.
But we have certain assemblies that we actually need to weld onto
our main machine. They're the locks. And they come in
to us here delivered from Canada.
And it's all painted, but they actually mask off where we're going to weld so we don't
have paint everywhere after cleaning and everything. So once we've welded on
the machine, we then have a lot of touch up
we have about three hundred lots, so we're talking something like fifteen to sixteen hundred welds
to touch up. And with the Preval, it gives us great efficiency.
We just hook it into our compressor. The inspectors come in, they inspect the work.
We just paint, paint, and it's done.
And we put it into the container and ship it out to the customers. Very easy, very easy to use.
Very efficient. Actually, why don't I bring you in here and show you how to do it.
Yeah. Let's check it out.
Okay, Shawn, so these are our mobile transport trays. They're used—
we've got four of them stacked here—they're used for loading 20-30 ton loads
up into the rear of a trailer, as opposed to a flat bed or something like that.
The idea is for companies to transition from a flat bed, which is much more expensive,
to an intermodal rail car. Much, much cheaper.
So what we use it for, the Preval Sprayer, is right now with a project we're able to fit
a lot of these locks in, as explained outside.
And once all the work's been done,
of course we've got a lot of weld joints here,
so it all looks finished when it gets in the client's hands,
we just touch up the welds here with the Preval Sprayer.
Each one's done individually in about 2 minutes.
And then it's ready to roll.
Alright, we're here with Ken from Preval. Ken, why don't you take us step by step with this project?
Okay. Step 1: We used our Preval Sprayer
to lay out all of our epoxy primers.
And then for Step 2: we used our
vFan Airbrush System to lay out all of our color
to match onto the color of the substrate.
And that's how Innovated Transport Solutions uses Preval products.
