That was Heather taking a photograph of our couscous
we've just had our couscous delivered (to our table)
and, I tell you it's not the way Heather and I do couscous at home.
This is authentic!
This is like...
all your veg (vegetables)...
look at the size of that! I've just had to offload it...
into the side plate, because it's huge!
and we've also just had a huge plate of tomatoes, and some nice starters there...
Heather has her "vegetarian" couscous
it's like we have at home, but it's a stew
with couscous underneath
stewed vegetables on top
with couscous and a harisa paste
and a stock with it
(to Heather) What's it like is it great?
(Heather) Mmmm, it's lovely!
So Heather, have we got to learn how to cook couscous like this at home? - I think so, yes.
Here we are in the Restaurant...
Tozerous, I think it's called, in Tozeur, Tunisia
and they've been very friendly to us and we were the first people for lunch in here
three local people have just turned up as well
but we won't turn the video camera on them, because it's impolite.
Heather and I are going to enjoy our lovely meal
and uh..
I've got a nice merguez sausage on top there
I think I've got some agneau (lamb) in there and some poulet (chicken)
I didn't ask for a dromadaire (camel) cutlet
because I thought, if I'm going to ride one tomorrow, I don't want to eat one today.
Which is hypocritical I know, me being a meat eater
but, it's one of those thing (C'est la vie!)
