Hi, this is Josiah Owen with Expert Village. Today we will be making potato soup with leeks.
The ingredients for this we need 2 tablespoons of butter, 3 large leeks (finely chop), 4
medium potatoes (peeled and diced), salt and pepper to taste, 1 cup milk, 1 egg yolk, and
1 tablespoon of butter. We're going to start off by peeling our potato, making sure to
get it all skin off as much as we can, we don't want this in our recipe. Then chopping
it about 1" cubes,
after that we are going to split our leeks in half and chop them up into fine slivers.
