(Latin Music) So today is a video about a.. (stutters)... stretching your natural hair.
So, let me get started. And I hope that you guys enjoy and find this at least slightly
useful. Okay guys, so I'm starting on a twist out. This is a fresh twist out actually, it's
dried. It's 100 percent dried. So what I like to do is part my hair into two sections. I
just do this and part it. And it's already a part from the twist out. And so I take one
section of hair. And for the stretched out look I take this section and I kind of twist
it amongst itself really tight and flat to the scalp. Like that. So because the back
of my hair is much tighter than the front, I don't want to stretch out the front part
since it's already looser. So I like to leave that part out to leave it super curly. So
I twist that amongst itself, almost like a bantu knot. And I keep twisting it really
tightly. So basically, what I do is I make two buns. And I take the little clip and I
clip it in place. Like that! And then next I do the other side. (Latin Music) And I suggest,
I like to do this on dry hair or like 99 or 90 percent dry hair only because I feel that
when I do it on wet hair it kind of makes it a little frizzy. So this is how it looks.
Most of the time this is actually I will do. I like to leave my ends out like this so that
they stay curly but I'm just going to put them on like this. If you want to keep your
ends curly or keep some parts so it is not completely stretched out, then you can leave
the last 6 inches of your hair out. So I'll leave it, it depends sometimes overnight,
sometimes for 10 minutes, sometimes for an hour. It stretches your hair out either way
but it'll stretch it out more the longer you leave it in. So I am probably going to leave
it in for however long and I will come back and show you guys the results. So it's been
10 minutes. Now I waited 10 minutes just to show you guys that you don't have to wait
15 hours or overnight to stretch out your hair. You can get pretty significant changes
in under 10 minutes. So I am going to take it down and I am going to start with this
one. Okay so... Here is my hair. And it is stretched out quite significantly. Now I am
going to take down the other side. Here it is, and as you can see, it's stretched out
quite a lot. I mean it's not like down here or anything but it stretched out quite a lot.
And I really like this technique. It's, I guess it is pretty self-explanatory. But I
didn't discover it until 2 years of being natural and I think it's a pretty good way
to stretch your hair out. So I just did it a second time for an hour and I left the buns
in for an hour. And this is how stretched out my hair got. My hair went from about right
her to past bra strap length. I normally call it breast length. But it's bra strap length
to be fancy. And I really it, it stretches my hair out quite a lot. I just really like
this technique. It's fast, it's easy, it's not really painful on the scalp especially
if your tender headed. And make sure that you fluff these parts out, this middle part
or however many parts you chose to do. Fluff it out and you're good to go. Thank you so
much guys for watching. I hope you found this video informative. And I hope that you all
have an amazing weekend. And (kissing noise). Thank you guys again and see your guys soon.
