Hi I'm Marlene Speigel Founding team leader from Wildtree. I'm here on behalf of Expert
Village to show you how to make my family's Italian Wedding Soup. I've already made the
chicken broth but if you'll Like to make it yourself, I can tell you that I have a receipt
that you can get at my website. You start with four chicken thighs you put water at
least two inches above the chicken thighs. You add and onion, celery, and some carrots,
you add two tablespoons of the Garlic grape seed oil a couple tablespoons of the Hearty
spaghetti seasoning by Wildtree, it will do the job and a couple of bay leaves you let
it simmer for about three hours, you strain it and the only thing you use for the end
results are going to be some of the carrots. Now I use the carrots and we'll put those
into the steaming broth and then I also use some spinach. Now you can use some fresh spinach
or frozen spinach, and the frozen spinach depending on how long your going to cook this
you can actually put the frozen spinach right in. I've already cooked the spinach a little
bit because we're going to want to eat this right away the meatballs. Remember those meatballs
I made in my meatball segment? Well when I told you to roll them small, this is how I
meant and I showed you a couple. We're going to add some of those. And then the pasta.
Now this is what really what makes the dish. It's a homemade pasta so we have to Dough.
And I've already created this so I'm going to show you. I made the Dough. I have a receipt.
It takes an egg, about a cup and a half of flour just some grape seed oil, and some water,
and I just grate this. And I get this type of a texture and then I boil water add that
to it and Viola! We've got the pasta to put into our Wedding Soup. Add that, stir it around
and you've got homemade Wedding Soup. Now you can also add which is optional and I'm
not doing it today. Some hard boil eggs to put in or you can add some Parmesan Cheese
right in it to make it a little thicker. But this is really the way I like it and were
going to just scoop some of this up. Look at that with those meatballs in there. The
pasta will get thicker too as it goes along so you don't want to add too much pasta because
it will suck up all your stock. Add a little bit of the Parmesan Grated Cheese Serve with
a nice loaf of hot bread and this one I'm going to try. This is like one of my favorites.
Um it's so good.
