This clip made for s♥ne, the others fanclub and everybody who loves and supports Girls' Generation.
The first chapter of Girls' Generation, Girls' Generation was coming already.
we've ever heard some actress or singer said that they've ever a part of snsd. the people who was talked about by everybody the most are Lee Yeonhee and Park Soyeon(T-ARA).
For Yeonhee and Soyeon Case, both have the evidence confirm that once upon a time they're a part of snsd. and Soshified.com was published a detail about the snsd members. now, i'll lead you returned to a snsd's history.
Finally how to SMe stop this project with 9 members?
SM Entertainment's Girl Group Project, "First Showcase"
11 members in this time (sort of age) are consist of Leeyeonhee(Leader), Hongbora, Baesukbin, Zhangliyin, Jessica(Jungsooyeon), Kimhyoyeon, Kwonyuri, Choisooyoung, Imyoona, Seojuhyun and Kimyejin(Youngest).
In 2005, SM Entertainment debuted a large boy group Super Junior, and then proceeded to plan a similar large girl group counterpart. SM put together a showcase comprised of internal trainees; most were veteran trainees.
and the total number of girls featured was 11. Eleven! A lot more than nine, you guys!
First Showcase Image (L-R) Juhyun, Yuri, Yejin, Seokbin, Bora, Yeonhee, Sooyoung, Liyin, Hyoyeon, Jessica, Yoona
However, this project group’s line-up didn’t last long. The line-up went through its first major revision. Out of 11 girls, only 6 of them stay in the group.
Interestingly enough, the six girls who stay in the group are Jessica Jung, Kim Hyoyeon, Kwon Yuri, Choi Sooyoung, Im Yoona, and Seo Juhyun.
There were more line-up revisions coming, but we all know that those six made it to the final line-up.
They pretty much had secured their place in the project group even from the get go.
SM Girl Group Project – Revision 1
OUT: Lee Yeon-hee, Hwang Bo-ra, Bae Seok-bin, Zhang Liyin, Kim Ye-jin IN: Seo Hyun-jin, Park So-yeon, Stella Kim, Jang Ha-jin, Lee Hwan-hee
Members: Seo Hyun-jin(Leader), Park So-yeon, Jessica Jung, Kim Hyo-yeon, Kwon Yu-ri, Choi Soo-young, Stella Kim, Im Yoon-a, Jang Ha-jin, Seo Ju-hyun, Lee Hwan-hee(Youngest)
There was five new addition to the group; Seo Hyunjin, Park Soyeon, Stella Kim, Jang Hajin, Lee Hwanhee.
Prior to the project group, Seo Hyunjin was a main vocalist and maknae of disbanded SM girl group, M.I.L.K.
Trainee Park Soyeon was plotted to be one of the main-vocalists of the group.
While Korean-American trainee, Stella Kim, was not only part of main vocalists; but she also plotted to be the ‘face’ of the group (along with Im Yoona, that is).
then they were changed the members again.
SM Girl Group Project – Revision 2
OUT: Seo Hyun-jin, Lee Hwan-hee IN: Kim Tae-yeon, Stephanie Hwang
Members: Park So-yeon(Leader), Kim Tae-yeon, Jessica Jung, Stephanie Hwang, Kim Hyo-yeon, Kwon Yu-ri, Choi Soo-young, Stella Kim, Im Yoon-a, Jang Ha-jin, Seo Ju-hyun(Youngest)
Due to various reasons, SM decided to replaced the oldest (Seo Hyunjin) and the youngest (Lee Hwanhee) members with two relatively new trainees,
Kim Taeyeon and Korean-American Stephanie Hwang. At that time, both Taeyeon and Tiffany had ‘only’ trained for about two years.
This line-up is probably the most well-known line-up for the so-called female counterpart of Super Junior. At this point, netizens started calling this project group as Super Girls.
In fact, SM Entertainment initially planned to debut this 11-member girl group. They even already took group picture of them.
/First Row R-L/ Stephanie, Soyeon, Hajin, Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung /Second Row L-R/ Yuri, Yoona, Stella, Jessica, Juhyun
The roster’s line-up had Soyeon as leader (as she’s the oldest among the eleven girls) and Juhyun as the maknae (the youngest).
The main vocalists were Soyeon, Taeyeon, Jessica, Stephanie, Stella, and Juhyun.
The main dancers were Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, and Yoona.
While the ‘visual line’ (a.k.a the pin-up girls) of the group were Jessica, Stella, Yoona, and Hajin.
The new addition, Kim Taeyeon and Stephanie Hwang both scouted by SM in 2004. Taeyeon won the Best Singer Grand Award on 2004 SM 8th Annual Best Contest. Park Soyeon, too, scouted after won the same contest in 2005.
Despite the plan to debut this project group, SM decided to add more people to the line-up. In the other hand, Stella Kim and Jang Ha-jin ended-up being cut from the group. There was a rumor that it was because of hajin lack of dancing skills.
As for Stella, some also said that her parents refused to let her debut before she get a degree. I think the later is more plausible as Stella Kim is supposedly one of most prominent and famous SM trainee,
along with Jessica, Yoona, and Hyoyeon (yes, the current ‘least popular member’ Hyoyeon was known as one of the prominent one thanks to her dancing skills, nice vocals, and long time of training)
SM Girl Group Project – Revision 3
OUT: Stella Kim, Jang Ha-jin IN: Seo Hyun-jin, Hong Bo-ra, Lee Soon-Kyu, Lee Hwan-hee, Heo Chan-mi
Members: Seo Hyun-Jin(Leader), Hong Bo-ra, Park So-yeon, Kim Tae-yeon, Jessica Jung, Lee Soon-kyu, Stephanie Hwang, Kim Hyo-yeon, Kwon Yu-ri, Choi Soo-young, Im Yoon-a, Seo Ju-hyun, Lee Hwan-hee, Heo Chan-mi(Youngest)
The third roster revision had Seo Hyunjin, Hong Bora, Lee Soonkyu, Lee Hwanhee, and Heo Chanmi as the newest addition.
Soonkyu was recruited thanks to the rave recommendation from SM Towner Ahyoomi (now is better known as Iconiq).
Prior to her audition to SM Entertainment, Soon-kyu trained in Wheesung‘s company. Unfortunately the company went bankrupt.
Seo Hyunjin, Hong Bora, Lee Hwanhee was re-recruited to the group. Heo Chanmi joined the group as the youngest one.
Many articles don't say about Seo Hyunjin and Hong Bora that they were chosen again. but surely there are the basis showed their opportunity to take a photo with all of the project members.
This line-up has 14 members, unlike the initial plan of 11 members. At this point (somewhere around mid 2006), the group went a lot of trials to decide who got cut out from the group.
Sites like Naver and Daum had posted this line-up prediction, with Lee Soon-kyu being the “mysterious trainee”.
that picture doesn't have Seo Hyunjin and Hong Bora, some people said that both leaved from the group already after come in project as a short time.

In the last picture, both Lee Hwanhee and Heo Chanmi were being cut from the group. Some source said that SM actually planned to debut the group with this 10 members line-up.
Unfortunately, one of the main vocalists and ‘leader’ Park Soyeon decided to quit due to “harsh” training. She wasn’t the only one who felt that way. You may have heard about how Kim Taeyeon, too, had thought about quitting.
She even had runaway for one day before coming back to the training process.
soyeon said in that time she think it's too hard. so she decide to leave from the group. but now she still cantacts with SNSD Members and happy so much to see snsd growth beautifully. and she attempts as them too,
even though she must fight with SNSD but it's the fight for friendship of their group.
SM Girl Group Project – Final Roster
OUT: Seo Hyunjin, Hong Bora, Park So-yeon, Lee Hwan-hee, Heo Chan-mi
Members: Kim Tae-yeon(Leader), Jessica Jung, Lee Soon-kyu (Sunny), Stephanie Hwang (Tiffany), Kim Hyo-yeon, Kwon Yu-ri, Choi Soo-young, Im Yoon-a, Seo Joo-hyun (Seohyun - Youngest)
Well, we are all know very well who made it to the final line-up. The group of nine girls then named as ‘소녀시대 (So-nyuh ***-dae)‘ which literally means ‘The Era of Maidens’.
No joke. Even the girls themselves were taken aback by their old-fashioned, grandeur name. When the group name was announced, Koreans bewildered and amused at the odd choice of name. Thankfully, they have ‘Girls’ Generation’ as their English name.
The name itself was taken from Lee Seung-chul‘s 1989 hits… ‘So Nyuh *** Dae’. I found it interesting how the song was a hit in year 1989, the very year where most of SNSD members were born.
And who would have thought that they managed to live it up to their name, leading the pack of girl-group domination, two years after they debuted.
Finally, Girls' Generation was started. then they are developing to the future with wonderful 9 members. let's support them from now and forever :D
Umm.. 9 members were debuted already..., and the others??!
Trainee were levead with their dream-path.
Seo Hyun Jin, was once the lead singer of girl group M.I.L.K. A four member girl group similar to the image of SNSD, M.I.L.K was quite popular in the early 2000s.
After releasing their first and only album in 2001, the group abruptly disbanded in 2003 for unknown reasons. She trained with SNSD girls,
and rumor has it that SNSD’s first single “Into the New World” was supposed to be the title track of M.I.L.K’s second album. now she best known for her role in MBC drama “The Duo”
T-ara’s So Yeon was already popular when she was an SM trainee as a potential SNSD member. She also admitted on a Korean variety show that, “I worked on the choreography of ‘Into the New World’ with SNSD, but later dropped out.”
Now, she works under Core Contents Media, a subsidiary group of CJ Entertainment.
Lee Yeon Hee, who debuted through KBS drama “Sea God,” in fact was the winner of SM Entertainment’s recruitment competition, “SM Teenage Contest,” in 2001. She beat out 8,000 other competitors to win the contest,
and since then, she became friends and trained together with the SNSD girls. She said on a Korean variety show that she advanced to the audition finals only to lose to Soo Young for a spot on SNSD.
Zhang Li Yin, better known as Jan Ri-in in Korea, is a Chinese solo singer trained by SM Entertainment. Her debut album in 2006 featured hit single “Tiimeless,” and she was named the “Best New Solo Artist” at the M.net Asian Music Awards.
Some call her the “Chinese BoA” and the next leader of the Korean Wave as she’s fluent in both Mandarin and Korean.
Lee Hwanhee passed SM Entertainment's auditions and became a trainee after entering winning a 2002 competition. She then entered one of the lineups of Girls' Generation in 2005.
Lee Hwanhee said, "I'm currently getting ready to make my debut. I've been an SM Entertainment trainee preparing to debut for a long time now, I still can't believe that it's finally coming."
Chan Mi of the 5 Dolls recently sparked a lot of interest from netizens following her comment on a Korean variety show where she said, “I almost became an SNSD member. At the time, I was in 7th grade and was younger than Seo Hyun,
this time, she well known as a member of Co-Ed School which is the new pattern mixed group during boys and girls.
and for Hong Bora, Bae Sukbin, Stella, Jang Hajin, Kimyejin, they are still as trainee. some stay with SMe, some leave to the others. they're study so hard.. of course practice to the artist too, let's support them as snsd :)
Special, the person wasn't chosen in project but has the ralationship with snsd debuted.
Yoon doyeon is the one of SM Trainee. there are manu rumors said that she maybe joined at the project. she was born in 1994, of course if she was stayed in the group. she was became the youngest member. her dancing skill didn't joke.
now she still a trainee and waiting for someday which her opportunity will come in coming soon.
Lee Seul Gi recently revealed on the 5th’s broadcast of KBS 2TV Star Golden Bell that she almost became a member of SNSD. She went on to explain that without her parents’ knowledge, she auditioned for SM Entertainment,
and won 1st place in the modeling category, which could have reserved a spot for her in SNSD.
Actress Kim Min Ji, who’s now four months into hosting the KBS “Music Bank,” was first cast on the streets in 2007 and won an SM Entertainment audition in the past as well.
She recently told local media that, “If I had continued training under SM Entertainment, I might have become an SNSD member.” She’s been generating a lot of fan interest lately after her middle school graduation photo got leaked.
Go ara said in KBS's "Happy Together 3" "I actually was meant to debut as a trio girl group. Two of the members that I had trained with are currently members of SNSD."
there is the rumor that 2 snsd members are jessica and sooyoung finally 2 members was joined to the project then she changed her role to the actress. she well know as Lee Yeonhee
