I was hoping they'd find a way to express themselves.
I was hoping they wouldn't limit themselves, you know.
One thing I liked about hip-hop that inspired me to really become active in it was that
it offered you a lot of self-expression. Other forms tend initally to be more
in terms to technique and form and emulation of that form
and hip-hop is very open it's very free you have room to really be personable
and really be individual. So I wanted them to find their individual voice
and not be inhibited or intimidated by new movement.
I think I did a good job...
