Hi Rez Studios is proud today to announce the immediate, official release of their long
in beta, 3rd person MOBA game, SMITE. SMITE began its closed beta way back on May 31st
of 2012 before entering open beta just over a year ago in January of 2013. A very long
beta period by all means and one that probably has a few of you scratching your head thinking,
"wait, the game ISNT released yet?" To accompany the milestone, Hi Rez has released a new cinematic
trailer and confirmed a $200,000 prize pool for the upcoming launch tournament scheduled
to begin this friday, March 28th. SMITE was able to accumulate a massive following throughout
its lifetime so far with over 74 million hours of gameplay dedicated, 13.5 billion minions
killed and a combined 1000 man years waiting in the respawn queue. Congrats to the whole
team over at Hi Rez and good luck following release.
The first expansion to Blizzard's Diablo III, Reaper of Souls, has finally been released.
Two years after the game made it's rocky debut, this expansion hopes to rectify what has been
undone by redesigning the loot system which will now feature more rare and legendary drops
and will have stats that are more relevant to your character. The expansion also comes
with a new character class, The Crusader, and a new act. So far the initial impressions
have been fairly promising. Reapers of Souls is available for $40 for PC with a PS4 and
Xbox One version in the works.
Albion Online is seeing its first wave of players hitting its digital world as a small

such as communications, media and entertainment, education etc. Zuckerberg assures that the
