Hey everyone, welcome back to DHTV. Today I have another beginner video for you iPhone,
iPad and iPod Touch users and in todays video I am going to show you how to cut, copy and
paste with iOS 7. Lets get started.
Alright, so the process of cutting, copying and pasting is very simple with iOS 7. It's
pretty much the same process as it was with iOS 6. So, I opened up my notes app here and
as you can see I don't have my keyboard open. So, if your ever on Safari or in any browser
you can pretty much hold your finger over a specific word that you want to highlight
and from here you can choose to select the whole area of words or if you want you can
select a specific area just by pulling these apart and you will see it will grab the specific
section. Now from here, you can copy, you can define the words if you don't know what
they mean. But if you tap on copy and we will go ahead and just move this down, bring up
our keyboard here. If we just tap on an open area that we want to type in you can paste
it and it will paste what you just copied. Now when you have your keyboard open it will
give you the ability to cut things out. So if I wanted to cut out the "copy and paste"
section from the how to here, I would just again hold to highlight, go ahead and select
a section here and you can see it brought up "cut". I am just going to highlight that
and I am just going to cut that out here and if I wanted that below, I just want it to
be right there. I just tap and I can just select paste and it will paste what I want
right their. Now, you also saw that there was another arrow there that brought up another
section, we will just select here you can see that theres other things. Paste, define,
replace... If you tap on replace you can replace it with different spellings of different words
if you misspelled something you can do that as well. So, just keep that in mind and this
also works if your in Safari. So I have got this one here and lets say I want to grab
this first paragraph, just highlight. It will select that first work but I can drag down
to that full section here. Drag above and grab as much of that paragraph as I want.
I can copy that, I can move right back into my notes app and then go ahead and paste that
in pretty much anywhere I want on the page. Just tap again and then select paste. So thats
how you cut, copy and paste with the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch using iOS 7. If you found
this helpful hit that like button and let me know in the comments down below. Don't
forget to subscribe, I post videos Monday, Wednesday and Friday all about tech, how to's
