Hi, my name is Karl James owner of Creolesoul Catering located in Round Rock, TX. On behalf
of Expert Village I'm here to show you a steak and creole gravy recipe. Here we have it our
completed dish our steak with creole gravy. We sliced that steak up so we can stretch
it added some mushrooms to it,
we used a mirepoix, the bell pepper, onion, carrot plus we added some celery so we call
it a mirepoix plus. We did some fresh herbs rosemary, thyme and some fresh sage, onions
like I said some Serrano peppers for some heat. We marinated some steak with some garlic
the seasonings that we put together and some Worcestershire sauce as well as some rice
wine vinegar. Then put it all in one pot but in layers and let it cook and cook. The more
you cook it the tender of the steak it will get, we made that roux so we can thicken our
gravy just a little bit. We used beef broth if you don't have beef broth you can use water
just make sure you season cause water comes unseasoned. You need that seasoning and here
we have it our steak with creole gravy over rice, try it out, give me a call let me know
