What is the cost, and time commitment for agility? It's not as much as one would think.
Generally, the majority of the cost will be in the introductory training of actually,
what agility is, and teaching your dog the basics. The next biggest cost will be equipment
that you can place in your yard, or your local park. As far as the cost of actually competition,
if they're local competitions, average costs can run anywhere from fifty dollars to a hundred
and fifty dollars just to register, as well as any additional travel charges, in case
you would have to transport yourself, or your dog to the actual competition. As I said,
if it's local, your travel costs shouldn't be that much. So basically, the costs involved
would be learning to show your dog the agility basics, mixed with the products that's going
to take to continue your dog with the obstacles. As I've mentioned in prior segments, I, I
encourage customers to be creative on the walk. Find different things in your local
park that may cut down on the need for you actually having to buy those obstacles for
your own home.
