Hello to you, mollusc band ! Here I am for a short video that won't last
too much, I think. It's just to show you one of the project I'm
working on, since I really love it !
What you see is CodeBlocks, it's programmation in C language
I practiced a bit of this when I was younger and I restarted recently.
And today I'm creating a little game whose prototype is on the screen.
I'm not going to explain to you the source code, that would be too long.
I've the test version just right here. It's named HexaPoosh, HexaPush, I don't know,
still might change. And it's like this for the moment, this is
a prototype it will be improved later.
It's a mix between draughts, pokemon arenas, zelda, checkers...
That's based on a lot of things, in hexagone as I love it !
Well, the rules, I'm going to explain it quickly :
it's quite short and intuitive. So, that's a turn based game, one versus one,
blue versus red. For example, it's blue turn, player have to
select one pawn and can move it in all directions :
There, there, up there [...] So he will choose this one and the pawn will
go forward to the end of the path. It will slip until it reaches a wall or another
pawn. That's what is looking like pokemon arenas
! So it's red turn, same thing.
Game goal is to crush other pawns. In that purpose, you have to take one of your
pawns and come to percuss ennemy pawn against a wall.
Let's imagine, for example : It's blue turn, there is a red pawn here.
If the blue one come to push the red, they will just be shifted. It won't crush anything.
Contrairwise, if a pawn is smashed. For example this one.
There's a blue one that will push it, but there's a wall behind it so the red pawn is
dead. But there's another way to do that :
It's when a pawn is taken between two others. The blue here is against a red, it's red turn
so that if this red pawn comes to push the blue, it will crush it between both of red
ones. Er... What can I say more ?
We can push our own pawns along the game. I'll show you.
For example the red will go up there, that'll push this piece and the both of them will
be shifted. You can also crush against the little holes
in the map. Take a look at what's happening here :
When the blue comes to crush the red pawn here, against the black void, the red will
die. So that's it, for the moment it's a prototype
game, i'm programming all of this. I'm waiting your criticisms and your suggests.
Knowing that we though about this game with a friend few time ago so that I wanted to
create it. I'm going to finish this game...
The blue are going to win. So, I didn't created anything else, I've to
do a menu, different boards, you'll understand :
I can change the map. There were some holes in the first.
Now there aren't any holes left. I can put another there or there so that I
can make an interactive map at each game. I may change the board shapes too.
So, it's free enough as I'm creating it, so I wait any of your suggests if you got ideas
! I think I'm going to end this game instead
of playing like a dumb. About the channel :
I'm realising a music video for VOIA one again. That'll be a 3D movie to go with one of his
songs. On video level, I don't really know what to
do for now, but if I got any idea, that's going to restart
