Mary Jo Sekelsky: There is a spirit on campus, an energy, a buzz, about the campus. I love
to come into the University Center and look at people lounging around, studying, talking
in small groups, hanging out, having lunch. Rajiv Lancy: One of my favorite places on
campus is actually the UCEN because the UCEN is probably the most vibrant place on campus.
The Recreation Center, I love going there because it provides us with many opportunities
to try different things like intermural sports. I love playing.
Jamie Wiswosser-Holt: On campus there's just a ton of ways to get involved. There's over
120 clubs and organizations that are available not including Greek life and job opportunities
as well. Just being able to take advantage of all of those is something in itself.
Wade Merrill: Greek life really introduced me to a whole different way of going to school
that wasn't just about the academics. I joined Theta Chi Fraternity and it's actually turned
out to be one of the best decisions I've made in college just because if it hadn't been
for that I probably never would have become involved in student life, student government,
athletics, and all the different things I've had a chance to do since then.
Jermaine Brown: It's about engaging the students and seeing what they want. We talk about different
current events whether it's on campus or off campus, political views, situations that's
going on in our lives that students need to be talked about.
Jamie Wiswosser-Holt: I like to go to Brown Sugar Cafe. They have a student discount actually,
I think you get like 10% off there. I also like going to Hoffman's. They have the best
sandwiches ever. Blackstone's also has a good college menu and even some of the places that
are available in the Pavilion here like Blends. I love going to Blends and getting my shake
fix. Rajiv Lancy: I just love walking around campus.
It's such a relaxing place. You can sit down by the river, have a good read. I just think
our campus is just beautiful.
