IN THE final days of the loan process, we will coordinate with escrow to wire your final
funds to close and schedule the signing of your loan documents.
Remember: your credit is run twice during this process: at the beginning and the end.
It's essential that all creditor payments be made on time, and that no new lines of
credit be opened during this period. Your funds required to close include title and
escrow fees, lender fees, and pre-paid items such as homeowner's insurance and property
taxes.
You may pay with a cashier's check, or a wire directly from your account. No personal checks
are allowed. A NOTARY WILL CONTACT YOU TO ARRANGE A SIGNING DATE at a convenient location.
IF YOU KNOW in advance that you are unavailable to sign loan documents, A POWER OF ATTORNEY
WILL NEED TO BE ARRANGED.
IF YOUR TRANSACTION IS to REFINANCE YOUR PRIMARY RESIDENCE, YOUR LOAN CANNOT CLOSE FOR 3 DAYS
AFTER YOU SIGN THE loan documents. This is known as the rescission period.
