Today I'll show you how to Udate your DSTWO to work with the DS after you updated your console.
It only works with the Supercard DSTWO, no other flashcard!
You should use a DS (lite)/ DSi if you have one. This is an emergency update which could harm your DSTWO!
First I'll try to boot the DSTWO (which doesn't have the right firmware) on my 3DS.
It will display the typical "An error has occurred." error message.
Now I'll download the latest update from the website of the supercard (direct link in the description).
You have to extract the dstwoupdate.dat to THE ROOT (without subfolders) of your MicroSD card.
Do NOT copy the complete ZIP archive and don't put the update file into a subfolder like the _dstwo folder.
Rename the file to dstwoupdateb.dat (with a "b").
You have to wait at the following step for at least five minutes!
Start the DSTwo and wait for at least 5 minutes at the "An error has occurred" screen.
Make sure that the battery of your DS is full and/or connect it to the plug.
5 minutes later...
Turn off the DS. Now you can put the MicroSD into the computer and check whether the update file is deleted or not (normally, it should be deleted).
I try to start the supercard and...
... it works :) I can use the DSTWO on my 3DS again. Let me play a bit RapidRoll.
I hope that this video helped you. You can write me a PM or you can write a comment if you have any questions.
