Hi guys! This is Eva from Bay Harbour Med Spa. I'm answering some questions today. Somebody
asked me whether you can use Mandelic Acid to get rid of age spots. Age spots. So the
anser is generally yes, but guys here's what you have to differentiate- this is actually
an answer for people that are white because age spots can be seen on white and light pigmented
skin, not on dark skin. You have to make sure that they are age spots. You have to make
sure they are not freckles. You have to make sure that they are not keratosis or that they
are not some other skin conditions. But if your dark spots are what we call age spots,
on your skin, then the mandelic acid is very suitable to us. You can use it two or three
times a week on your skin. It might take you three, four, five months to acheive the desired
results- it doesn't happen overnight. When you use Mandelic Acid you must make sure that
you are protected from the sun so you don't get sunlight on your skin. That would be also
for ultraviolet light. If there is ultraviolet light around where you work, and let's say
you are treating your hands, and you have direct ultraviolet light from lamps even,
make sure that you protect yourself and you put sunblock on your skin. It depends on what
part of the world you live because some parts like Florida we have the sun. Of course New
York, Minnesota, or Prague doesn't have sun now so you don't have to worry about the sun
so you can use the mandelic acid and you're ok. But you als have to remember that when
you use the mandelic acid you must keep the skin nice and most all the time because remember,
moisture is what helps skin to regenerate and new skin and new cells to grow. And you
want new skin and new cells to regenerate and to grow on the skin you are getting rid
of. So mandelic acid is very good however, you have to exceptionally take care and moisturize
the area you are using the mandelic acid if you are using it only for the purpose of getting
rid of age spots. So I hope that I answered this question and that you understand that
you have to differentiate between age spots and between discoloration that comes from
freckles or when you get older you get all sorts of things on your skin that we generally
call keratosis- then that would not be suitable because that is a different condition, but
for the discoloration of age spots that's something that could be very beneficial. I
would say it's not only using mandelic acid. Remember age spots come from whithin- it comes
from your liver, it comes from within you inside. Of course sun has a lot to do with
it, but it is a reaction. I would wholeheartedly suggest you guys to look very seriously into
liver cleansing. There are some books and some doctors that I would personally give
a high-five to because I think it's very logical. There is a doctor by the name of Dr. Sandra
Cabot who is actually from Australia. I read her books 25 years ago and I now I read some
new stuff of hers and her old books and she has a very good idea and it's logical how
to cleanse your liver and how our liver is responsible in the reality it is, for a lot
of 90% for everything that happens on our body because remember- the liver the biggest
filter of our body. The liver filters everything. It filters all the toxins, it filters all
the food that you eat, all the wrong food, the pesticides- if you don't have antioxidants
in your system it oxidizes so that the liver cleans everything. If the liver is overworked
or if the liver is covered up, a lot of layers of toxins then the liver can't filter properly.
It can't work properly and it eventually shows also on your skin. I always said you are what
you eat and your skin generally is the picture of the health of your inside. So if your skin
is health on the outside it means you are most likely healthy on the inside at least
as far as your liver is concerned. I would suggest that you look into reading some of
her youtube videos or reading some of her books and familiarize yourself and doing sort
of a dual approach do an internal cleansing. Make sure that you take milk thistle in quantities,
make sure that you have a good diet. Read her books, listen to her videos. Get the Mandelic
Acid and do a combination of both and that can be very beneficial, ok? So I hope I answered
these. Until next time, ciao, adios, bye bye! Eva.
