Okay, so I'm going to show you today, how to just simply print a one color print, on
a white shirt. That's your basic, fundamentals of screen printing. I'm Joseph with East End
Ink, and I'll be showing you how to pull a manual squeegee for a one color print. We've
already lined the screen up to the pallet. So it's got ink, and it's got a squeegee,
we're all good. We'll take this shirt, just load it, make sure it's nice and centered,
nice and even; we'll pull it off a little bit. Bring the screen down gently, grab the
ink, grab the squeegee. When you pull the squeegee, you want to make sure you get a
real clean stroke like that. What you want to avoid is uneven pressure and trembling.
You don't want to be trembling, because then you'll leave marks withing your print, like
that. So, what we're going to do, is just start over here, practice, now we're ready
to print. So we'll apply even pressure with your left or right hand, one even stroke,
just like that.
And that is just how simple it is.
