- Welcome to a new week! We have a guest with us today.
- I've been wondering how it is possible to be as crazy as you are. What happened to you?
- Good question... I was born in 1992 into what I will say is the best family in the world.
- From early on I enjoyed training with my dad and go skating.
- We do have some short clips which we can watch!
- Ready, set, go!
- Get up again!
- There! Look here what a time! - Time?
- 1 minute and 17 seconds. - Yes, and 17!
- Lovely clips. And it seems like speed skating has been your thing from early on. Where there ever any other sports?
- I played football like everybody else and I actually was really into horses for a while...
- Let's take a look at Kristian's football and horse adventure!
- I have to laugh a bit when I see you with that horse and brushing it.
- Did you quit that? You're not a football player or a horse rider today?
- No I ended up with speed skating. Even though I didn't have much talent there either...
- You didn't look like a very good skater when you were younger...
- No but I don't know if I do today either... - I think you look better than in this video!
- Hey Kristian! How was it? Happy?
- Not very happy with that... - Was it a pirouette of victory at the end there?
- Yes.
- At least you were happy! Were you a ladies' man as a kid?
- No... Me and the girl have been a sad story my whole life and haven't charmed the girls.
- But I remember two girls, Silje Linn and Miriam. I liked those two. Or Silje Linn! Not both of them.
- Silje and Miriam. We've found some video clips from that summer where you tried to show off!
- Now I want to say to all the cute girls. Look at my butt and I have a ***. You can also make kids with it!
- Make sure Silje and Miriam get to see it!
- I'm glad we have censors!
- You seem to be crying for attention. Couldn't have been easy to be around you when you were young and now?
- Absolutely not and I must say that I really admire my brother. I've always taken the attention...
- I see what you mean. Take a look at this!
- You have a very patient brother. I'll give him that.
- You probably live pretty healthy as an athlete but have you always done that?
- I trained a lot from early on and I tried to eat healthy. But I really enjoyed cake and sweets...
- I think it should be ok. Me I enjoy eating what I want and what is good.
- But it looks like you get extra excited about what your grandmother offers you here!
- What about that cake from yesterday? - We still have some of it. Do you want it?
- Yes please!
- Lot of good stuff there! There have been a lot of show and attention around you the last year...
- We've covered that you love attention. Has it always been like that?
- Yes I think so. I've always loved being on stage and in the center of attention.
- I sent an audition to Eurovision song contest for kids...
- Eurovision song contest for kids? We've actually got hold of a video from your "audition".
- I think there was too much background noise to get a spot in that contest. But at least you tried!
- You and your brother Johann are a team now but it's not the first time?
- No it's not. I remember our fist time together on stage was when we had a "show" for Peppes with our dad.
- It was a show for sure. - We have some clips from this too.
- Pay close attention to Kristian's acknowledge of his dad when speaking with his mum after the show for Peppes Pizza.
- I have to go now. - Ok, goodbye!
- By the way, Winston. It's great to be in the same decade as you.
- They song along, Kirsti joined me and danced. It was awesome! They laughed and it was great!
- I listened to dad almost all the time and he was great too.
- Not bad. You were in seventh grade here and your brother was in fourth grade?
- Apparently there is something in your DNA which make you love the stage.
- Yes I think so.
- But now you've lived for 25 years. What are your greatest moments?
- As a speed skater there is no doubt: when I skated the junior world cup in 2011. That was a great moment.
- And when Johann and I released Here's to Norway together as brothers. That was a great moment too.
- Are there any new projects coming up? You've done Here's to Norway and Schaatsen in Thialf.
- You have also promised a video for the Olympics. Will there be one?
- There will be one! An Olympic edition of Here's to Norway and we're already working on it.
- Cool! We're looking forward to Here's to Norway Olympic edition. Thank you, Kristian for joining us today.
- I'll see you next week!
