Hello Laserfiche Vars
this is a brief demonstration of how LincDoc integrates with Laserfiche
to provide a seamless electronic form solution
to integrate data into the Laserfiche document maangement system
for this demonstration
you can see a sample building permit application that's been embedded into the town of greenville
website
LincDoc is going to guide you through the process of filling out this form and sending
the data to Laserfiche
in this case on to choose a residential building permit
and the applicant name will be John doe
now you'll notice
the red means fields are required
the green means it's been completed
and the form is a dynamic form
so based on wants action we choose here
he will ask for different information below
so all the data for this form is built into the simple interface
including the proper fee schedule
what I search for John Doe's name
I'm going to do a search in Laserfiche in real time of the temlate field for permits
for the name value John doe
as you can see here
we see a previous application for John Doe for one two five terrace hill
when I choose select
this imports the metadata from Laserfiche into
this LincDoc electronic form
for the constituent filling the form out
they've avoided
half a dozen fields they would have to submit
at the same time
based on the address of one two five terace hill drive
we've done a look up into their property database
to retreive the lot block
plan and zoning number
from their database
we can do a similar type of look up for contractors
let's assume
that the city in greenville
has a list of all the contractors authorized to work in the city
if I choose search
with the company name Ace Corp
it will retreive all their information as well
so as the end user I have now completed this form
having typed in
two values
when I'm ready to submit
I choose preview to check the form for consistency
and then generate to render a PDF
on the back end this is all being sent to Laserfiche which show you in a minute
now for the end user
all the data from the
form has been filled out actual
paper application or in this case the electronic application
now if I login to Laserfiche
into our web access system
you can see that the permit the HVAC permit for John doe
has been automatically filed here
and when I opened this in Laserfiche
Lincdoc has not only created the file path
as you can see here
but it's named the file itself
and filled out the template information
so here is the permit type
the name, classification,fees paid
everything all in
the standard Laserfiche interface
so you don't have to do any a secondary processing with quickfields
and now you have a perfect on-ramp to workflow
to get this approved internally
so that is a a very brief demonstration of how Lincdoc works with Laserfiche
and we'd be happy to arrange
laonger custom demonstration for you
