Hello everyone, Sotius here from FragMix, it's a Monday so let's get on with some gaming news.
Let's start off the day with some DLC news, last week it was announced that Lobo is the first DLC character available for Injustice: Gods among us.
And now Neverrealm studios has announced that the second of the four planned DLC characters is going to be...Batgirl.
There is no release date yet for Batgirl, however Lobo is planned to be released tomorrow.
Moving on who doesn't like giant mechanical robots that are used to kill giant evil monsters? No one!
That is exactly what the upcoming Guillermo del Toro film promises to provide when it released on the bigscreen on the 12th of July.
But what has this got to do with gaming news you ask? Well it turns out that a Japanese studio is developing a game tie-in to the movie.
This being revealed after an Australian Ratings board posted a rating for the game online.
Some images have been posted online at Neogaff.com of the gameplay and it would appear that the game...
...will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade and possibly the Playstation network.
From the screenshots we can tell already several things about the game, the game will feature a character selection system, even allowing players to play as the monsters.
And will feature player vs player combat.
From the character customization screen it is shown that there will be a leveling and abilities system in place with what seems to be options to customize your mech.
And lastly in news that I simply like to call 'Nintendo trying to make profit', Japan times has released a story stating that Nintendo...
...are attempting to modify the code of their existing WiiU devices in order to allow them to run Smartphone apps.
Nintendo are providing conversion software to application developers in the hopes that they will produce smartphone games that can be played on the WiiU...
...and hopefully increase profits after their previous operating loss.
More information will be provided in the links below.
Thank you everyone for watching, be sure to like and subscribe if you haven't already, let me know in the comments if...
...you think smartphone apps on the WiiU is a good or bad idea and I will see you next time, Goodbye.
